⚠️ Risk

Force bigger than 10 daN is needed to activate the safety systems (10 daN is indicated by Standard NF S 52-503). Attempts to activate the safety systems are ineffective because one piece of the release mechanism breaks and makes further attempts impossible. This means that users can neither reduce or eliminate traction or separate completely from the kite while kite surfing.
