There is an extreme risk of a lethal electric shock when changing the bulb if that the power plug is inserted in the power outlet in such a way that the L-conductor (live) touches the threaded bulb holder and the user touches the base of the lamp or the screw thread on the bulb holder when changing the bulb. The appliance did not pass the test for electric shocks. The base of the bulb holder could be accessed with the test finger.The lamp is not fitted with a strain relief device. Lamps equipped with a mains lead must include a strain release device that prevents the connecting cable being pulled or twisted at points of entry and protects the cable insulation from wear and tear.This product does not comply with the LVD Directive and the European Standard.
