The product poses a risk of burns because under certain rare conditions, there is an elevated risk that a battery cell may overheat or catch fire as a result of the presence of metallic particles in the cell. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive. 11 over-heating related incidents have been reported of which none resulted in personal injuries.
