⚠️ Risk

The product poses a serious risk of electric shock because there are no components to reduce the voltage on the active parts to 24V and the lamp's design is attractive to children. In particular, the lamp fails to comply with the relevant standards in the following ways:- children may regard this lamp as a toy, and although it must therefore run off a transformer or converter which supplies a voltage not exceeding 24V, the lamp does not comply with this requirement since it has no components to reduce the voltage to 24V and runs directly off the mains supply (230V);- the lamp does not bear certain required markings; - given its design and the lack of instructions it is not apparent how the bulb may readily be changed. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
