This product poses a serious risk of:- <u>electric shock</u> because the product is marked with class II symbol instead of class III, rated voltage indicated on the product is 230V~, while it is designed to operate on 12V~, and it is not marked on the luminaire that it is for operation only with a short-circuit-proof isolating transformer or toys transformer;- <u>burns</u> because the lampshade becomes detached during testing with spring-operated hammer with impact energy of 0,7Nm and the fall test from height 850mm. The lamp, which therefore becomes accessible, reaches during heating test temperature of 271° C and shade, which is also accessible, reaches temperature of 96° C. The maximum allowed temperature for accessible non-metallic parts is 75° C. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
