⚠️ Risk

The product poses a serious risk of choking since the buttons on children’s clothing do not fulfil the requirements in the relevant standard. Including the spare button, the garment in question has three buttons present. Two garments were tested, resulting in all six buttons detaching before meeting the required force.On the first garment all the buttons detached at under 50 N.On the second garment one button detached at under 50 N, one at 52 N and one at 63 N. Five of the buttons broke into several thin pieces, while one detached while being set up for the test). The detached parts each fitted in the small parts cylinder and are deemed to pose a potential choking hazard to a child under 36 months. Size of garment tested was 12-24 months.
