The product poses a risk of electric shock because:the transformer is not compliant in respect of: - protection against adverse effects: the transformer did not pass the subsequent hygroscopic test,- it fails the test for electric strength between the active parts of the primary circuit and the active parts of the secondary circuit (double or reinforced insulation),- the transformer is classed according to the degree of protection against dust and moisture ingress as IP 20, whereas it should be IP 24 or higher,- the primary and the secondary circuits are not electrically separated;and because the luminaire is not compliant in respect of: - it is rated as Class II according to the kind of protection against electric shock, but it is Class III in view of its SELV supply,- the terminals do not pass the test for the efficiency of permanent connections,- the wire does not pass the tensile test,- it does not pass the ball pressure test. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European Standard EN 60598.
