⚠️ Risk

Residual current devices, which serve as a protection against electric shock, are used to cut off the electrical current if an electric installation is functioning incorrectly. When a product is faulty (it shows a significant divergence from the parameters, which are illustrated on the product) a residual current device will not work and may cause harm to the user (electric shock).
