The product poses a chemical risk because the material of the inflatable heart contains 1.92% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 13.3% of by weight of di-“isononyl” phthalate (DINP) and the valve contains 23.8% of DEHP and 2.63% of DINP. According to the Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC, certain phthalates in toys are prohibited.
