The products pose a risk of damage to sight because they incorporate a class 3A laser which is dangerous if a direct beam, or even a beam reflected off a reflective surface, strikes the unprotected eye. Both pointers bear the indication “Class IIIA Laser Product”. Class 3 laser pointers should not be placed on the market for use by consumers.These products do not comply with the relevant European standard EN 60825.

The laser is operated by three 1.5V AG13 button cells. The products are packed in plastic frames in blue cardboard boxes.
