The product poses a risk of injuries because:- the chains affixed to the cutter are subject to high stresses during normal use and could, as a result of wear and tear, break and be projected at high speed;- the guard of lawn trimmers is not normally designed to withstand the high kinetic energy of projected parts of a metal chain.Fatal accident with a similar product reported in the UK.The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive.
