The products pose a risk of electric shock because:- they have no cord retention mechanism and are not fitted with the terminals required for detachable single-pole switches for use with flexible cords;- there is no cord anchorage to prevent the conductors being subjected to mechanical stress, including twisting, when they are connected to the terminals; - the screws used to hold the face or cover plates in place are not captive.
