Moreover, the antistatic properties are insufficient and friction on the footwear could create sparks.The products pose a chemical risk due to the presence of Chromium (VI) (measured values up to 17.8 mg/kg). Chromium (VI) is classified as sensitising and may trigger allergic reactions.The products do not comply with the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment Directive and the relevant European standard EN 20344.
