Chemical risk. The rubber solution contains benzol. According to the Directive 67/548/EEC this substance is carcinogenic (category 1- R45), mutagenic (category 2 – R46) and toxic in the event of prolonged exposure (R48/23/24/25). The rubber solution contains at least 50 % by weight of benzol and according to the Directive 76/769/EEC, products containing more than 0.1% by weight of benzol may not be supplied to non-commercial final consumers.
