This product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:- it is possible to touch live parts with the test finger;- flames came out of the appliance during the tests and the hairdryer failed to withstand the subsequent dielectric strength test:- it is possible to remove parts acting as additional insulation without damaging them;- casing used for additional insulation is not appropriately or securely set in place;- the appliance does not attain the specified voltage value of 230 volts, there is no Class II symbol and not all the mandatory warnings are given.This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European Standards.
