The measured value is lower than the maximum permissible capacity for lasers of Class IIIA but exceeds the maximum permissible capacity for Class II. Therefore, the laser pointer is a laser system of Class IIIA. - the laser pointer has not been marked with a warning or an information sticker detailing the main technical characteristics and the correct class. - no safety instructions are provided in the packaging to warn consumers that they should not look directly at the laser beam or its reflection in a mirror unless wearing goggles and they should not point it towards an unprotected eye.
